me and my mate went out for a ride in birmingham in the morning at about 7 - 8:30 am and some woman pulled out in front of my mate and luckily he jumped off of he could have been hurt and all the woman said was sorry she drove off and that was that he was that scared we forgot to take the number plate of the car she caused about £300.00 to his bike.
That makes me angry. |

That makes me angry. | This kind of sh*t happens all the time... Friction between bike riders and cars is never going away. Same as between trucks and cars etc |

| Re: What one thing pissed you off, today? Don't it ever, Bigdaddy. But it doesn't get any better when the power's put in the hands of the bike rider. Over here. the smaller you are the more 'right' you are in any accident. If a truck hits a car, legally speaking, the car wins (even if he u-turned directly in front of the truck).
As you can imagine, following this philosophy to it's logical conclusion, bikers only worry about contact with pedestrians. Sure, it hurts more when a car hits you but even though you've been weaving in and out of traffic, it is the car/truck driver's duty to get out of the way and, if he doesn't, the extra insurance money will pay for some new, flash piece of kit for the bike. If you're still alive to receive it. |

| Re: What one thing pissed you off, today? My regulator just went pop along with the head-light, dash-light and main fuses. It turned the fuses into carbon
It was a lovely warm evening as well, and I was on my way to see friends.
The bike gave one slight cough and then died about a minute later. I went through the usual fault-finding sequence but soon realized there wasn't much I could do with just a leatherman, 6 spare fuses (the replaced main fuse blew immdiately) and a spare piece of wire.
Gutted It going to cost nearly bht 3,000. Why, oh why are these little black boxes so bloody expensive? |

I had to work last night so being tired wasn't good.
Caffeine would have been nice but most Starbucks closed at 4:30. which brings me to something else that pissed me off. Why the hell did so many people go and buy stupid Starbucks yesterday? should have been a really easy night but because dumbasses had to have their overpriced crap I did probably 80% of the amount of work I would do on a normal day.
People its a holiday meant to be shared with friends and family. Go over a relatives house and have some coffee and pie, don't go to stupid Starbucks. oh well I made a big chunk of money.
Now having said that, no one go to Starbucks on Christmas. Well at least not one in northern MA or NH.

| Re: What one thing pissed you off, today? in PA it is a law that you are supposed to stay in the right lane and pass left. everybody's happy. pass left stay right its the law. there are signs on the highways all over with this on them. no one seems to care. if they have their cruise control on beside somebody and you're stuck behind them they seem to always think its my fault because i want to go faster than them. in my car it bothers me more because she needs momentum for the hills in her old age. so i urge you left lane commandos out there. MAKE THE DAMN PASS THEN MOVE OVER | |
