Death to America

I thought some of you might find this BBC Radio 4 programme (1 of 3) interesting:

Quote:
... Anti-Americanism Examined: Washington correspondent Justin Webb looks at the perceived global hatred of the US. 1/3. He examines the origins of anti-Americanism in Europe.
BBC Radio Player

Part 2 next week, 23rd April (but as above you can listen anytime after that with the "Listen Again" option)

Quote:
Anti-Americanism Examined: 2/3. Senior Washington correspondent Justin Webb questions the common perception of the United States as an international bully and an imperial power.

Re: Death to America

My thoughts on the quality of the broadcast programme or the subject matter?

I'm not sure I'm skillful enough in debate to offer up my own personal opinions in depth on "Death to America", suffice it to say that the USA has many, many facets of which it should be very proud, and others of which it should be ashamed.

But Death to America, no, never, but maybe a little bit of behavioural modification might not go amiss.
