Gas Prices pre & post election

Months ago I had predicted that the gas prices would convieniently drop before the election. To my delight, (and disgust in many ways) I was right.

Since our new President-Elect has been voted in, gas prices in my "hood" have gone up 8 cents.

Anyone else notice a similar change?

They went down in the UK as well...the oil price, to which the gas price is linked went down.

Compared the prices lately? In Europe they only can go down anymore.

Re: Gas Prices pre & post election

The trouble here is we have what is effectively a power company monopoly as there are only six large energy suppliers. They are obviously all quite happy with ludicrous charges so there's no real competition here...the result is we get screwed.
