ND, I looked at every page, and the exact same impression as yours occurred to me.

To consider that some people actually think going to war with Iraq was wrong because of the lack of WMD being uncovered burns my butt.

Those people only need to look at those pictures to know it needed to be done.

What we are seeing is only the tip of the iceberg. Saddam and his sorry ass spawn have been doing this for years.

That's what I'm thinking. Saving a country from opression and a very apparent slaughterhouse should be reason enough.

I don't care how any of you feel about Dubya. His pops along with Klinton screwed up when they pulled our troops out of there after Desert Storm without finishing the job. Would've cost us a lot less, and many of those mass graves would probably not be there. We'd still have the Twin Towers, many other planes, etc etc.

A few questions....

Where were all the enraged protestors during all of this....?

Why weren't the Starbucks Liberals united against this...?

Why weren't the toffee-nosed Brits toppling Sadam statues in their public squares....?

Where were the Hollywood halfwit activists with expose documentaries.....?

Why weren't the Dixie Chicks "embarrassed" about this...?

Why wasn't Michael Moore using his star power to call attention to this atrocity.....?

Why wasn't Sean Penn traveling to and fro to put an end to this.......?

And now why do they all choose to hate and criticize the people that put an end to it?

Re: disguisting, Sadam = massgraves

And most importantly, if Fat Albert Gore or any of the Naive Nine were President, Saddam would still be killing people left and right.

Tell me again why it was O.K. for us to take out Milosevic in a war the U.N didn't support, that france and Russia threatened to veto, yet getting rid of the worst murderer since Stalin and Hitler is wrong?
I know, let's just appease everyone - 'cause that would make the world a better place!

Re: disguisting, Sadam = massgraves

Yeah, you guys are correct.

Thing is, I think many countries didnt want to get involved because it would hurt their "spoils" of dealing with Saddam.

Its plenty ok for them (UN) to want to help out in Poorer Africian Countries or Bosnia, etc, because those counties dont have Rich leaders PURCHASING goods/services of the UN countries.

So, in a sense where the USA & GB are being accused of doing this for the $$, I think the others were doing the samething, just playing the otherside of the fence since Saddam's removal would not benefit them economically.

And you know that Every country's leaders in the UN knew of the human travisty in Iraq.

Also, they need to show these massgraves to all the Iraqis so that maybe even those opposing us will understand how much better they will have it both now and the years forth!

More on this.....

AP: Scientists to Excavate Iraqi Graves
By NIKO PRICE, Associated Press Writer

MAHAWEEL, Iraq -
The killers kept bankers' hours. They showed up for work at the barley field at 9 a.m., trailed by backhoes and three buses filled with blindfolded men, women and children as young as 1.

Every day, witnesses say, the routine was the same: The backhoes dug a trench. Fifty people were led to the edge of the hole and shot, one by one, in the head. The backhoes covered them with dirt, then dug another hole for the next group.

At 5 p.m., the killers — officials of Saddam Hussein (news - web sites)'s Baath Party — went home to rest up for another day of slaughter.
