As was Saddam when he tried to attain nuclear weapons.
He was made enough to use them. Or at least threaten them.

You only need to look at the majority of countries and note
their educated people (the language they speak) or their economic
status to understand the purpose of a nuclear arsenal. Israel aside
ofcourse. They are handy in keeping the arabs stupidily fighting other
middle easterns (jewish people) while the anglo saxon's pillage and plunder. Ofcourse, Zionists really want a home, while real Jews shake their heads and
get on with life. Ofcourse, Jewish people are a handy resource
for intellectual achievement as they instinctively try and keep ahead of
so many people who hate them. Funny how anglo-saxon media always
keeps anti-semetic sentiment alive somehow. Obviously just reporting
on it. Not exploring it any meaningful way naturally. So that it can
be over come and accepted........ Zionists will figure that all
out when they outlive their usefullness, burning arabs with them
as response to a small collection of zealot arabs (nudged along by
various outside influence).

So that brief foray into the cause of the exception to the rule,
that's all nukes are about.

However, as I stated, threads like these are only useful in monitoring
sentiment. Handily exploited when necessary.

Oh come on.........Who here is actually a highest level security officer?
Diplomat? IMF? Anyone?

Back to bikes.

Thanks Rbro, said just fine. Back to bikes for me.

I think thats including the cost of the war in Iraq, not just the spending for having one.

Seems kinda twisted, but still a ton of money.

Amazing how the people in Hawaii that consistently sent anti-missile defense reps to congress are now enjoying the things they voted against. All this while the democrats are cutting the systems budget even more. Good luck to those on the coasts if North Korea figures out how to drop a third stage this time. My bet is this one or next they will and then share the tech with Iran.

But no worries Obama will give a speech and y'all will be safe.

What else you gonna do with a load of surplus to requirement technology. Sell it on to those without it. US sold it to the UK, I expect we've since sold it on to someone else...

Re: North Korea Rocket

I can assure you that the overwhelming majority of people in N.Korea, Hawaii, or even Mississippi don't want war, or weapons of mass destruction. Actually, apart from leaders, weapons industry stock holders, oil tycoons, and bankers, you must be an anti-social psychopath to want war.
Despite all this people suffer the consequences of wealth interest serving wars. Would you say that if Hawaii was to claim independence and was run by its native tribunal chief, would N.Korea consider it as an enemy or a target? What has the US administration done in the past 50 years to allow N.Korea to be anything BUT an enemy?
Nada!
Meanwhile the US Navy at its full might is chasing a civilian cargo ship around in international waters and at the fringes of China's waters putting them in a spot. The US people must learn that you can not terrorize and police around the world and expect no reaction.
Nuclear weapons and "evil doers"! Who are the only ones that have ever used them on civilians?

We used them in a war against those that attacked us. As terrible as the toll was it has been speculated by many that the death toll on BOTH sides would have been substantially higher. Contrast that with the paradise of North Korea which is killing its own people and threatening its neighbor.

As to the last 50 years check into the countries we enslaved.... oops there are none. We may not always be right but your perception is just bizarre.

Re: North Korea Rocket

Perception is very relative, you are right, but based on the globally available information your seems just as bizzare to those that are informed of the the score. This is not my place nor do i have any interest in informing you but just as an example of the thousands possible check what happened in Chile, 9/11 1973 and how Allente died.

How many YOU have enslaved, I don;t know, but if you mean the USofA it is less time consuming to list those that haven't been.
Iran, Yugoslavia (till 99), N.Korea, China (??), Russia, and a handful of others for brief periods of time, Nicaragua, Angola, Mozambique, Chiapas region of Mexico, ..?

Re: North Korea Rocket

Pushing it slightly Zero..

While many of us would agree that countries like the US, and for that matter the UK, have an all to familiar pattern of sticking their noses into other peoples politics in order to better affect their interests and line the their own pockets, the term 'enslavement' is way off the mark.
