Kerry's Kontradiction?

First he yammers on about lost jobs....but then he announces that the federal government should be buying cheap Canadian manufactured drugs instead of domestic ones.....

Re: Kerry's Kontradiction?

They are not Canadian made drugs. They are the same drugs, but the middleman happens to be in Canada. If the whole world gets the same drugs, why do we have to pay the most? And don't give me that research crap because if that were the case EVERY COUNTRY THAT THEY SOLD TO WOULD HAVE HIGH DRUG COSTS. Not just the US. It's a simple case of "extract all you can from each of your clients." Being from Northern California, I am well aware of this practice. We have the highest gas prices and one of the easiest access points for foreign oil to arrive. Plus, our refineries are local also. But still our gas prices are the highest in the nation. Why? Because the oil companies say we can afford it! F@ckin' Jacka$$es!

Yes, but it doesn't even come close to making up the difference.

The true sign of a democratic front-runner; To be evicerated by 'The Bake' ..

John F Kerry should be delighted !

Whadya think about Edwards? I've seen him speak a couple of times and he hasn't pissed me off yet.. more than I can say for any of the other candid-apes. I take that back - Sharpton usually makes me laugh. He's fast.

The largest discrepancy is 10 cents, which doesn't even come close to making up the differences in prices per gallon you trolling bitch, you.

Kerry Demonstrates His Firm Understanding of Economic Principles

Quote:
Kerry Talks Prescription Drugs in Nevada

By MARY DALRYMPLE, Associated Press Writer

HENDERSON, Nev. - Democrat John Kerry (news - web sites) urged the president Wednesday to allow the sale of cheaper prescription drugs from Canada as he discussed drug prices, health care and retirement benefits with senior citizens.

"I call on the president to do what he should have done in the first place," Kerry said. "I call on the president to get out of the way of Americans being able to import drugs from Canada at a lower price."

Could it be because of trial lawyers like Edwards driving up the price of liability and malpractice insurance, which must be factored into health care costs?

I am also in the drug manufacturing buisness and know what it costs.
I am also a Canadian. It is the Canadian government that puts the prices on the drugs which is why they are cheaper. The biggest thing here is population. Canada only has 30 million people so to the drug companies they are not making or losing much money on such a small amount of people. What gets me is that all these political jackasses think that they can import cheap drugs back in. Ok Canada gets enough drug to handle its 30 million and these retards think that it can handle importing enough drug for 300 million. No **** you are going to get sugar pills because the drug companies are not going to give Canada enough drug to go around. If all these laws pass that allow cheap Canadian drugs to be imported people on both sides of the bo
