EDIT: I might as well say, "We're ..." I'm thinking about selling out, err, affiliating with a party...

| Re: Kerry's running mate? It will most definitely be either John Edwards or Jane Fonda. It's a bit of a toss-up, as Kerry's politics mirror those of Fonda, but he needs Edwards in order to carry his lone southern state. |

| Re: Kerry's running mate? Anybody willing to give this discussion some substance and start sponsoring odds ? How about a pool?
I don't think that the south is much of a player in the next election, outside of FL. I think that Kerry gives Bush TX, makes a play for swing states in the West (NM, NV) with a Western VP (also counters Cheney's geographic influence) and solid pitch to FL and AZ on Medicaid and Social Security. Everything else plays out like the last election.
I don't think any of the presidential aspirants would make a suitable VP. My early fav is Bill Richardson, governor of NM. He's press savvy and has good federal credentials (Ambassador to the UN, Secretary of Energy).
How about an Electoral Vote Futures Market when the time is right? |

| Re: Kerry's running mate? No matter who it is, I hope they own a cheese factory....
With Kerry's incessant whining, it will make a hell of a cocktail party....
He whines like a little girl with pinkeye now....and Bushy hasn't even started to campaign. It's been a one sided loudmouth competition up to this point, but once the Bush goons start firing back, I predict Kerry will turn into a whimpering crybaby.....I don't think he can take the heat....

| Re: Kerry's running mate? Whoops! Sorry Bake, didn't keep up on the news. At any rate, I believe the only chance the Demos have is if Edwards agrees to be Kerry's running mate |

| Re: Kerry's running mate? Do any politicians really have credentials?! Governor Schwarzenwho? Who knows... maybe with a little luck, a few bought votes in Florida and the support of the .Org, you could squeek in! |
