Yes. Raised as a fundamental Christian. Started questioning the dogma and "infallible" interpretations of the Bible when I was in my twenties. Still love Jesus and the way he lived his life. Don't care much for those who march by the tune, "Onward Christian Soldiers". Are you a buddhist or interested?

Glad you are exploring! My unsolicited advice is to remember that there are different interpretations and styles of buddhism, just as there are in any "theology". Man always tries to complicate things. For me, the idea that buddhism is more of a philosophy than a religion rings true. Any person who adheres to a particular religion can get something from buddhist teaching. If your mind is open and your bias is silenced, you will recognize truth when you hear it or read it, no matter the source.
