I own the first season and have given the second season as a gift a couple times in hopes of borrowing it but no one seems to want to let it go. Awesome show.

That show is on DVD? If so, sweet. Do they just cover the bible and other religious texts or do they get into non-religious topics?

Totally! My favorites from the first season are, Alien Abductions (those people are bizarre!) and the alternative medicine (magnet therapy, etc) episodes from season one. Season 2 has some awesome ones as well.
