Recommended Read:

With attention on The Chronicles of Narnia (good read) I thought I would recommend a read from the same author. The Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis. A short book and while it has some great concepts it is not a ponderous heavy philosophical read.

Ditto. I might go as high as five thumbs. That book is a fun read and an eye opener as well.

And I agree with your additional comments also. Plus it is usually reasonable in price
