Damn, can't believe that is happening so close to Rome and The Vatican.... Wonder how many of the Cardinals from Rome will end up being there with historical documentation to be presented for his proof. Wonder if the dude who made the charges will end up being lynched?

Not that i know any of this, it could be complete BS but, it says that no documentaion about him was written by anyone that was around when he was, basically it was all heresay from the get go. most historical figures have tombs, shrines, graves, and documentation from people that actually existed during the same time frame, back to people from long before jesus's time.

there was some interesting stuff too about how jesus is a recognised figure in jewish and muslim faith, they just thought he was some cool do-gooding dude, not the son of god. makes you look at christians in a different light, like they are kookie neo-religious people basing a religion off a person that was just some dude. Swearing that he is the son of god, creating stories to awe and support this belief.

A friend was telling me about this book called mystic christianity that presented the idea of Jesus being just a normal guy and that when he left for 20 years or whatever that gypsies from the far east had taught him all kinds of, what would then be thought of as magical stuff. It says that perhaps it was nothing more than a little alchemy or acupressure or something else that would have wow'd the people back home so he was thought to have had these great abilities.
