| What are you doing for Lent? OK first the disclaimer: If you don't observe it and want to criticize please put it in a SEPERATE thread
So I am thinking myself and coming up blank. What are others doing for Lent?

| Re: What are you doing for Lent? A friend of mine would drink no alcohol the whole time.
Another person, who isn't religious, has used it as an excuse to give up different things he was addicted to, like processed sugar, no sweet stuff (outside of say fruit). |

I say you give up the Dew.
I'm already 0 TV and no soda. Maybe I'll not drink beer the whole time this year. I need to go look up the dates. |

| Re: What are you doing for Lent? Starting Wed eh? It's 40 days correct?
Maybe I'll do that. No beer during Lent.
Always fun to test the willpower.
Oh another, my friend's Dad quits smoking for Lent every year. And as soon as it's over, he starts smoking again. Every year. |

Naaahh, just kidding.
I'm giving up fast food. I know I should just do it anyway, but I really eat out waaaay too much. The area around my apartment is plastered with fast food places, and I give in way too much. Should be pretty easy though, cause when I really set my mind to something I am too stubborn to give in. |

I go through preparations to not eat at fast food even when I'm traveling. Now, if I do eat it, I feel myself dying.
About the closest I get is a very occasional In 'n Out. (like a couple times a year) |

Diet Dew or FB.org
Of course if I do the second I should have the RC painted and hopefully my computer working to some degree when I sign on next...
