I can't absolutely agree or disagree with the satanic comment. I'm by no means backing up or supporting Roberts. I'm not really a big fan of his. Sometimes I think he's way, way off in left field.
However, the "Fanatical" Muslims have issues. I've always asked what it takes to strap a bomb to your back and kill innocent people and yourself at the same time. What kind of an idiot flies a plane full of people into a building full of people? It's pure stupidity that drives a person to violent anger over a cartoon.
I've said this to a Muslim friend of mine. I expected him to get upset, but instead he wholeheartedly agreed that it was stupidity. To sum the fact up even more he said that it was pure evil to do the things that he has seen done on television and on the news.

It's one thing to take a stand, it's another when you take to that stand with violent force that is uncalled for.

You will never hear me deny the fact that Robertson is a fanatic. I'll agree with you on that one.

At the same time, you WILL NOT hear me defend most Muslims. It has nothing to do with what they believe, I just disagree with most of their attitudes and world views.

OK - I'll stop now, there's no need for me to get into that debate.

Robertson hurts diplomatic relations with Middle Eastern countries.

This directly effects the lives of people, and yes, can lead to senseless bloodshed.

Free speech is good, but it doesn't absolve the speaker from the liability of what he says.

I'm saying Robertson, and his ilk, no matter which book they hide behind, are a large percentage of the reason people do kill in the name of religion.

Or do they understand we are going to be all "politically correct" and say "oh, they're just stupid and misunderstood".

Honestly, somebody could read or hear anything and go over the deep end if they're walking that line of sanity/ insanity.

Either way, from either side. But, if a whole boatload of Christians got pissed in this country and decided to riot and suicide bomb the crap out of everyone, everywhere, would it be because Muslims were calling them names, or could it be they were just bonkers anyway.

McVeigh bombed the **** out of that building in the name of "politics".

Did we say, "ooh, let's change our Government policy so other McVeighs don't lash out"? Hell no.
