| Re: 'Holiday' trees removed Here is the CNN story.
Seems that the Rabbi never really asked for the trees to be removed, he just wanted to have a menorah on display too. Rather than go down that path, the Port, not the Rabbi, had the trees removed.
I was talking with LTL about this just last week. If they allowed the Menorah, then I want a Flying Spaghetti Monster too. |

If you want to participate, pray, go to church, do some volunteer work for the less fortunate, spend time with your family praying, going to church, etc. The marketing side of this holiday is utter bullshit. A tree being removed means absolutely nothing. | And the Christians stole it from the Pagans...
Get off your high horse, Christmas is an amalgam of many different customs into one. It does include Christmas trees, fat drunk guys in red suits, family in town eating, drinking and being merry, and much more. |

Yep, you can't limit the type of decorations based on religion. (and if they simply refused a Menorah but allowed trees, they most certainly could've been sued, and VERY likely would've lost)
Other than that, have at it... |

| Re: 'Holiday' trees removed That same sect succeeded in haveing our Holiday Tree removed from the front lobby of our building. That tree is only a symble, but it gave everyone a good feeling. Exept about two very rich people who decided to use their "influence". Now it's just a dreery stark cold lobby.
Merry Chrismas A-holes!

Stick that in your menorah!
