this is my new leftover 2008. It has puig screen and gutted cans.

If an R1 was available to me I personally would not have chosen red.... However, after seeing yours, that metallic red actually looks rather fetching!

I like the red. Ive been riding an 07 red for 3 days now. Im so used to the 954 that the R1 has no power for me on the bottom. Hadnt really had any road feeling the top end yet.

I like that red colour, looks good on the R1. That model looks sooooo much better than the dog's dinner they released this year, IMHO.
