My '96 Blade

Here are some pics of my 1996 Fireblade. It's a stunning bike, a joy to ride, and a real head turner with a great sound.

I've been around these forums a bit, but never got around to posting my ride, well here it is now.

feel free to give any input, cheers!

The Aussie climate seems to treat bikes well.... it looks in good nick!

Personally I'd lose the purple seats, but each to their own, if you like them that's all that matters.

Re: My '96 Blade

I think the seats add to the whole colour scheme of the bike, although they do 'date' the bike as bit. The paint job tho, is right upto date, what a fantastic bike!!! Looks like new!!!!!

You're a lucky guy to have found her unless you've had her from new???

Top class machine mate

Re: My '96 Blade

Thanks for the comments!

I bought her second hand, but the previous owner really looked after her very well. had her for several years now and put tens of thousands of k's on her, but still runs like new!! Gotta love Honda's!!

The pictures don't give justice to the paint job, for some reason the sunlight makes the purple color of the wheels, stickers and seats a different shade, but in reality they all match. Beyond me why that happens

Tried finding leathers to suit the colors, but had no luck finding purple leathers, I'd imagine I'd have to get them specially made.

anyway, thanks for the input guys, really appreciate it
