| New bike - Guzzi Just picked her up this week from a collector. It's a 2001 with only 1021 miles. LOTS of torque and sounds kinda like a ducati/rc51 combination. I don't think I will run into another one anytime soon! |

| Re: New bike - Guzzi Sweet. I don't think it is a particularly good bike, frankly, but I know that I have always wanted a Guzzi too. Thee is something about them. |

| Re: New bike - Guzzi I would never say it's the fastest or best at anything, but thats not the point. Come to think of it I really don't know the point of this bike other than it's a work of art and would look good sitting in any art museum. Carbon fiber everything and italian goodies.....
Come to think of it, maybe thats the point...not to look like anything else.
As far as a "good" bike. It does sit very high. I am 6' and 235(ish) and barely touch the ground. It also compacts you pretty tight and the brake pedal is very short, it pulls very hard to the right (due to the sideways v-twin), but it will get looks whereever it goes and thats what I like about it. I think its the first bike I won't change ANYTHING on as it's already where it needs to be. |

| Re: New bike - Guzzi i ride with a guy that has this bike, except his is the sport model with ohlins suspension, and it is sharp to the eye. The gold and blue of the ohlins really sets off the and blends with the anodized aluminum too. Regardless it is a cool bike, you will be just the third person ive seen post that they have one.
Good luck getting parts quickly. You can get them just not quick depending on the part. The bike isnt a race bike, but it is fully capable of being tossed around in the curve. |
