not a bad 04 1000rr race replica

been quite a long time since i posted on here. last time i had an all black 2004 cbr 1000rr wiht a few mods.

2004 cbr 1000rr TenKate HannSpree race replica
pc3 w/custom mapped 162whp and 83wtq
bmc race filters, gutted air intake
hrc velocity stacks
arata ti mid pipe fitted w/a simonkobejapan ti gp can (50mm)
did ERV3 520 chain w/driven sprockets f/r (+3 rear)
2007 wheels
2007 rotors (320mm) w/ caliper spacers
2007 rear shock
2007 HRC link and dog bone
vesrah rjl pads
ATE brake fluid (higher wet/dry boiling points) (f/r/c)
motovation no-cut frame sliders
nicky hayden front sprocket cover mod
puig db screen
speedo healer
vfx intergrated brake/turn light
vfx flasher equalizer module
watsen led (gen1) flushmounts
pilot power 2ct's with a 190/55 rear

17,000 miles and counting.

Looks great What did you do about re-positioning the rear brake fluid resevoir upon removing the rear rearsets???
I think it was Segiano that used some car hose around the original brake line then used a diff resevoir.

i also have (had) a track bike. a 2002 gsxr600. i had a nasty highside labor day weekend on the track. needs new front wheel, rear wheel, forks, body work, tank, subframe, clutch lever, front brake fluid res. lol

race tech internals, worked rear shock, valtor moto rearsets, pc3 w/tune (114whp and 47wtq), vesrah rjl pads, ATE brake fluid, fully wera safety wired, m4 full system, k&n filter, ngk iridium plugs, PT Tuning billet 19x19 radial master cylinder, goodridge ss braided lines, ebc pro lite rotors, 520 chain and -1/+2 vortex sprockets.

Ahhhh couldnt see from reverse shot Did you see what i was asking/saying...that you could re-position just behind the heel plate...HERE'S the link...take a look at post 5. I'm just going through some jobs on my bike, and I'm looking at doing this. Thought you might be interested

it wouldnt work for me. i wear size 11 race boots and my heel would kill the res each time i set up for a L turn.

im done modding the cbr. its all about trackdays on the gixxer now. i put in 2x more track miles in aseason than street miles.

edit: actually its all about rebuilding my busted up track bike. lol

which is still torn down sitting on jack stands in my garage awaiting on alot of parts.

There are no tracks here on the island, so I'm limited as to HOW I can ride. Tracks are the best way forward if you own this type of machine. Happy riding
