Boy am I popular.... Maybe Ill do the Gap on the way to Marrietta this year... Can you Ohioans please remove all the gravel from the road before May? Last year I did a 2 wheeled slide from white line to white line from hitting some Ohio Traction Control.

Re: Ride the Dragon

A whole bunch of us Canadians will be going down at the end of May. We have a long weekend that we call the May Two-Four. I believe that the entire CROT has been booked by Canadians and even some of Fontana Village. If any of you local guys are out that way look for the Euro colours (colors) and say Hey Eh!

Same here in Wisconsin. Gravel in the corners separates the men from the boys.

Wait till fall and you have a field corn mix. Yellow is easier to see for sure.

Re: Ride the Dragon

I've never done the Dragon, but I found this......

http://motorcycles.about.com/gi/dyna...eTheater6.html

The guy doesn't seem to be pushing very hard, but if you don't know the area very well, it's better to be safe than sorry

Re: Ride the Dragon

Cages aren't the only ones that go left of center, unfortunately. I had a couple of gixxers and I think an R1 about hit me head on in MY lane while I was there. And that was on a Tuesday, I've heard the weekends are pretty bad.

Re: Ride the Dragon

Well, what happened, where's the post ride comments, did ya'll go? It's getting to be that time again and the hurricanes eliminated my first trip there. I'm putting both bikes in my van and going in another month or two. This is the only mention of Deals Gap I found here.
