PROCEEDS WILL GO TO THE CARTERET COUNTY RELAY FOR LIFE

Carteret General Hospital has a vested interest in finding a cure for cancer, not just for the sake of our patients, but also because many of our employees have had cancer. This time, it’s personal! We also realize that cancer awareness and research is something we must be concerned about all year long.

Enjoy a forty-three mile scenic benefit ride for Relay For Life. This ride will take you west on Bridges Street, down Hwy 24, over the high-rise in Emerald Isle, over the high-rise in Atlantic Beach, ending at the hospital’s parking lot. A meal will be catered following the ride. Come out and enjoy food, fun, and fellowship.

Until this disease is eradicated, we remain each other’s REASON TO RELAY!

Hello Friends,

Just wanted to let everyone know that despite threats of ominous weather all week (Ivan did affect the western part of our great state), we had a wonderful turnout for our first motorcycle ride to benefit the relay for life. Thanks for allowing me to have the information posted here. We hope to make it an annual event. We had 145 bikes (not bad for our first time) and raised almost $5,000.00. More monies are still coming in as I've got plenty of Large and Extra Large event t-shirts left.

Hugs,
Precious071003
