Virginia Trip

I'm headed down to VA the weekend of the 23rd of August. Probably gonna leave here Wed. night, and come back Sunday. I'll be in the Lynchburg area once again visiting friends, but will set time aside for riding.

Let me know if you want to meet up. The BRP is only about an hour away(probably less) and a few other nicer roads.

You should come down the weekend after that and go to the AMA races at VIR 29-31.

So I take it you won't be coming up this time *Osiris said he will probably come. *I'm riding down this time so it'll take much longer for me as well

EDIT: Load up your trailer, come up Thursday night and we can ride most of Friday

Who's got a trailer?

It wouldn't be as bad this time, because it would be warmer on the trip back. That night on the way home was the worst part for me.

Did you finally sell it? Yeah, it was rather chilly that day. I was in my suit and only rode about 100-110mi and was still cold. Can't even imagine you guys

As of now I plan on leaving here Wed. night, getting there Thursday afternoon, taking a breather then riding again most of Friday, possibly some on Saturday. I am going to visit friends so I can't be out riding the entire time. I'll let you know more as the date gets closer

Well make sure you don't go near the town of Washington and I'm not talking about the nations capital. Got a ticket going through there last Friday. Cop drummed up a bogus ticket b/c they are trying to keep motorcyclist out. Long story short, keep out of Washington (right outside Sperryville) unless you want a ticket. Here's a pic of me getting the ticket.

Thanks for the heads up. Not quite sure of the route yet, gonna let the GPS do most of the work

I've got one of those pics too. Got pulled over on my F2 way back when in front of my buddy's house. He looked out the window, saw me sitting there and snapped a pic. I'm proud of that pic

Were is Washington? I've been playing out by Sperryville for years and have never seen it???

Is it more North?

I maybe up for the ride, school starts just a few days prior, so all rests on that!

After the mess I cleaned up last time, no way I'm intentionally riding in the rain. (Not to mention I don't have an Aerostitch like SOME people.)
