Only reason I ask is, I ran the sonofagun up and back twice and was pert near spent for the day as far as really aggressive riding goes. Pretty draining, physically and mentally, to go fast on the Dragon, IMO. Blue Ridge Parkway is a vastly better sportbiking road. Much longer, prettier scenery, less traffic and easier overtaking when traffic is in fact heavier. Have fun though. It's a neat place. | |

| Re: Headed to the Gap on Aug. 15th Yeh, I've been there 3-4 times. *We normally ride one full day, making passes up and down the dragon, maybe a trip down the skyway. *Sunday is usually a half day of riding before we head back to memphis. Hope the weather is a little better this go-round. *Got rained on a good bit last time up. * |
