| Blue Ridge Parkway .... Late Aug., early Sept.
I usually take a week off to do this ... From Cherokee NC to Front Royal Va. (And back).
The way back doesn't usually include the parkway... This time is used for exploring the Shenandoah Valley. (Damned ugly place ).
I don't really want to do this on Labor Day weekend due to the traffic... motel availability... NO, I don't camp... Or haven't in a long time... It would take a lot of talking... Well... Hmm... Guess I could camp... If I had to. |

Maybe... | I hear ya... Heck, right now the last thing the VP wants to hear is about me taking off another week.... But it's going to happen. | Re: Blue Ridge Parkway .... I could very possibly be up for that as well.... Will see what dates you guys come up with and see if I can work it out to. Would like to meet and ride with some of you people since I couldn't make Grattan this time.

I will be riding the XX with full Givi's...Touring will be in effect!!!!
After years of doing track days .... I believe my most relaxing vacation is this one... I usually only have two solid dates... the day I leave, and the day I have to be home.

| Re: Blue Ridge Parkway .... Since you will have the bags on the Bird....why stop at Front Royal...
It's just another short day to come on up and ride with all of us old VFR burnouts in VT/NH on the weekend of Sept. 10-11. You could even take that pig up Mt. Washington if you want a little adventure...
