Best of Show

I brought my bike to an import tuner show today ... not so much to compete but to help represent the local sportbike board.

Well wouldn't you know, I won best motorcycle.

I'll be the first to admit there wasn't much competition, but still pretty cool.

I'll post a bunch of pics in my gallery tomorrow.

I'm new there.

Purp: How long did it take you to do that run? What're you up to today?

Show was very busy, lots of cool rides there, including my favorite, a big-ass old Lincoln Continental, which won best domestic.

BTW, the voting had nothing to do with the female influence. Jessica had a modelling gig there, actually didn't see much of her until later.

Some cheesy local clothing "designer" (heat-transferring the word "phyne" onto a generic shirt makes you a designer now) that sponsored the models.

edit: hey, question for you: In the lower light shots, where my flash went off the pics were defined and colourful, but when the flash didn't go off and just the indoor flourescent light was used the pics look washed out. Should I just leave the flash on all the time?

Re: Best of Show

ahhh gotchya.

Hmmm, it really depends on the situation. Do you have a white balance setting on your camera? If you do, there should be a flourescent setting on there that you want to try. Flourescent lights throw out a lot of green light that is shifting the color of your photos. Usually this can be fixed in photoshop though with a Ctrl+B or maybe Ctrl+U and lowering the green channel a bit.
