| Re: Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap Two Wheel Inn would be your best bet if they have any vacancy. Each room comes with a private "garage" for your bike. (Should hold at least 2 bikes actually.) |

| Re: Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap Thanks guys. I booked w/Two Wheel Inn. They seem nice and you're right about the garage. That's a big selling point. I'm headed out for four days and three nights. Wed 'till Saturday. Then back to NY!
Any recommendations on a good places to eat. Also, I hear not to limit myself to just the GAP.
Thanks again

| Re: Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap Avoid the Gap on Saturday as all the crazies come then (or go and watch and see how NOT to ride the public roads)

| Re: Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap I've stayed at the Two Wheel Inn and you won't regret it. The owners are very nice and accomodating people. They also have an area map of decent riding roads and places you'll want to check out. Word of advice, if you see a gas station...fill up. It's easy to run through a tank of fuel out there. |

That's where I'll be that week
Lots of other cool stuff like flat rock and hot springs around, nice rides if you get tired of the dragon |

| Re: Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap Fontana Village is great stay. It's cheap, and you can "buddy up" in the cabins. I went last year with a bunch of Kawi ZX12R guys. It was great fun. |

| Re: Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap The wife and I usually say at the Pioneer in Cherokee.
Definately hit some other roads. Another good loop is from Us74/19 down 28 to Franklin; east on US 64 until you get to US276; from there head to Waynesville; you can head back west on eiter US74/23 or US19. I like US19 myself. Enjoy. |
