| Re: daytona bike week... If you paid me I would go....
okay maybe not.... but I would take the money and say that I went.
I went by accident a few years back... (dont ask).... If I go back... it would ONLY be for the AMA race.... and even then it would have to be accidental.

| Re: daytona bike week... I made it one day last year with a bunch of co-workers. I only went that deep into the Main street area because a few of them have never been. I led the group for a ride around "the loop" and then I headed home. The wife wants to do some demo rides this year so we'll probably only make it to the speedway and skip the traffic jams. There are several back ways into Daytona without traffic but little interests me over there. People watching gets old quickly and I've found very little in the way of sport bike vendors and such. We'll demo some big tour bikes since that is what the wife wishes I'd get. It's a long day doing the demo rides but I do enjoy the chance of riding several different bikes. |

| Re: daytona bike week... It's fun to check out the new bikes at the track and also go to the races.
I did the main street thing once and that was enough for me. |

| Re: daytona bike week... I was there for the first half of the week because my daughter had never been and it's warmer then Canada to ride but I have heard enough big twins to last 50 life times. Next time I think I might go straight to the Keys |
