N.Y. Should have a bike week.

Ive never been to a bike week event or anything before, but i think there should be one here in New York state or Long Island, Theres car shows every week during mid spring and summer, but it gets boring, no like actual shows go on or events. once in while there are runs but its all harley dudes who dont wanna be riding with us.

There is one in NY...it's called Americade and it's in Lake George at the beginning of June.

It's not a "bike week" like Daytona or Laconia, NH, but there's lots of folks who attend. There are demo rides, guided and self-guided tours, and tons of vendors. I've only gone once. The Lake Placid area has some great roads.

Hondagaltoo mentioned the only one.. its in Lake George Saratoga.. its the only one that we have.. I will be going to Daytona March1, 2007..anyone else going?

Really? The one in NH has been around for something like 70 years. Like Daytona, it started out because there was racing going on. Nowadays, the Hardley riders at Daytona don't even know there's racing going on.

No AMA racing at Loudon, NH anymore, but there may be club racing going on during bike week.
