Re: What is the next ride you have planned?

First ride is about 1-1/2 hours to where I can get my new chain re-sized properly. When I get it back, then the next ride will be to Jebel Hafeet. Hope I can find somebody to join me there, but I will go alone if I can't.

Re: What is the next ride you have planned?

Mostly the Forest Service roads take a shortcut across a mountain or two and end up at another paved road. Some can dead end tho. Best to get a Forest Service topo map and plan out a big loop. Or you can sign up for one of the organized Dual Sport rides in the area to get familiar with it all.

Tail of the Dragon at Deals Gap and Cherohala Skyway, Graham Co, NC This site has them all,

Re: What is the next ride you have planned?

My next ride is next weekend Fri. to Mon. Going from Pa. down to Va., WV., and maybe hit the eastern part of Kentucky. never been that far west yet on the bike I,m staying two days in Beckley WV. We hit alot of twisties that run east or west over the mountians. anybody have any sugestions on some nice roads in Kentucky? Va. and WV. have some of the best roads for riding.

Ride on the Beach!!! If you ride on the beach here a cop on an ATV will arrest you and off to the slammer. That's if the Game Warden who protects the sea turtle doesn't get to you first and feed you to the sharks!

The beach is out last stop. We're heading thru snake road, Clewiston and Labelle before we get there.

Re: What is the next ride you have planned?

I am considering a trip to the Dragon(Deals Gap) this Sunday, 9-21-08 leaving late in the afternoon. Overnight 9-21 & 9-22 and returning early Tuesday, 9-23-08. Not a sure thing yet but the weather looks fantastic and I'll miss the weekend maniacs. Anyone interested? I need motivation!!!
