| What is the next ride you have planned? Let us all know if you have a ride planned in the near future - corner store and work runs don't count. I mean your next planned weekend type ride. |

It's an amzing ride we have done many times. If your in Australia and ever have the chance to take the trip it's very much worth it! |

| Re: What is the next ride you have planned? I believe mine is Labor day weekend. Not a long one, but its for the pediatric hospital here in Salt Lake, a little charity ride that pretty much shuts down a few major city roads. Bad part, put on by Harley riders, good part, puts smiles on the the little ones mugs when we show up with all the emergency vehicles and toys.... |

| Re: What is the next ride you have planned? Just got back from a 1400+ mile trip to Oregon and back. Yesterday we started out in Roseburg and headed for Crater Lake. We did the loop along with the obligitory site-seeing and stopping everywhere along the way. Then headed South through Kalmouth Falls to Weed, where we got on Hwy 5 and made it all the way back home for a 600+ mile, one day ride that ended at 10:30PM. I was riding in 90 degree weather up and around the Lake. Then it got hot. I was riding in 100 to 104 degree heat from Klamouth Falls to almost Sacramento (about 6 hours). It never got below 84 degrees the entire way home. Not even next to the bay. I road the Goldwing and the wife took the Subaru and child.
P.S. Forgot to say that just before it got to 100+, We got thunder storms going though Klamouth Falls with just a tiny bit of hail to let me know how it really could be if it got ugly. Wierd stuff.

| Re: What is the next ride you have planned? We tried to see Crater Lake a couple months ago but the fog was too bad.
Im planning a return trip to Highway 1 on the CA coast. Gonna trailer the bikes to southern CA and ride north on 1. Maybe find a good road through central CA and return to the truck/trailer. Trailering because the wife is going and to save wear/tear on the bike, specifically the tires. |

| Re: What is the next ride you have planned? Diesel, Don't try to do it in the middle of summer. The coast is always foggy from San Francisco and North of there. If it's only Southern Ca., you'll be fine. Some of the warmest/sunniest, and clearest weather in San Fran is in the middle of winter. But for a coast ride, I like Fall the best.
