had a great ride-out today.

hey guy's and gals,

I went on a ride this morning up to a biker cafe, when I was their i met a few guy's with modded hayabusa's. a GSX1000R and a ZX6R.
So i walked over and said hi,

They had the shinny polised frames, they did it themselfs with wet and dry sandpaper, and autosol metal polish.

They also had extended swingarms, like you would use for drag racing, which is a good idea because it allows you not to keep bouncing over the bumps in the road since the rider isnt over the rear wheel. It also stops the front wheel coming up. and it looks cool.

They asked if i wanted to go on a ride with them, i said "yeah, but im only on a 400!"
They said "oh thats ok we wont go too fast, (can't remember his name) is only on a 600 ninja."
so we went for a ride, it was really cool to be accepted in a group of busa riders when im on such a little bike, we had an awesome ride and went to another biker cafe for breakfast, then went off again to a bike meet.
We all had a great time today, hopefully i can meet up with them again soon when i've got the blade on the road.

OMG OMG, before i forget, I a saw a trike pull a wheelie today!
NO WAY I didnt think they could do that.

Re: had a great ride-out today.

they were custom made.

The one that stayed down was a V8.

The second had ape hangers, and sounded lush, I didn't expect him to be able to wheelie, but i watched him do it Actually everyone around was stunned.

A few of my mates ride trikes.
Infact i've ridden my mates kawasaki gpz1000 ( i think thats what its called) converted to a trike.
was a weird experience, i ran my leg over, I kept thinging it was a bike lol. it hurts dont do it.
And you really have to push and pull on the bars to get the thing round a corner, a good way is to open it up, which spins the back end and corrects itself. This is a very handy technique when trike riding.
I will post some pics soon.

Re: had a great ride-out today.

its quite a ride, though especially from Se london.
Come on a sunday morning, it will probably take you all day to get their and back. about 10 - 11 am at H's.

H's cafe on the A2 is right between canterbury, and dover. Then we ride up the alcom valley (thats spelt wrong). through Folkstone Then along the coast road where their are loads of twisties, then straights, then more twisties., then into the town of rye which is in sussex. Thats were all the bikers meet up.

Its a great ride on a bright and sunny day. And their are biker cafe's the whole way along their.
