| Re: Laguna Seca 08 MotoGP July 18-20 Not to worry, tickets will be (overpriced) on ebay soon enough.
I had to pass on the package deal of a lifetime last year because of scheduling constraints.

| Re: Laguna Seca 08 MotoGP July 18-20 Yeah, the website is working at this time. I'm reading through the whole "camping guide" to try and figure out exactly where how what, ya know?
Anyone who was there last year or in 05, any thoughts on this? Basically trying to figure out a place to stay down there for me and my posse (wow, I don't think I've used that word in over ten years...) and I'd prefer to be as up-close to the event as possible.
Worst case scenario, I can always find a place to crash through CouchSurfing.com |

| Re: Laguna Seca 08 MotoGP July 18-20 You guys both planning on camping? It would be a lot of fun. It falls on my break but I think I'd rather use the money for a track day? |

| Re: Laguna Seca 08 MotoGP July 18-20 good luck man, we reserve our rooms at the time of check out the previous year.
i'm lucky enough to get the flagroom package from a friend that has been on the list for the past 17 years, we stay at the bagabond inn, or the loane oak lodge on freemont st. you might want to check with them as some people cancel just befor the event. good luck. |

How much does that run ya bro? Personally, I care less about what sort of conditions I'm staying in as long as I can get a hot shower, and I'm close to the track. I'm strongly considering just camping out there.
And as for the tickets, I already bought them and a paddock pass. Was more interested in the paddock pass than the tickets. I can always get the tickets from my work since we usually get them about a month or so before the event and sell them right in the store.
Oh, I should clarify that last part. Basically, if you can't find tickets, check your local CycleGear about a month before the event. I know this past year we still had 3-day passes left over afterwards. |

I'm strongly considering just camping out there. | last year it was around $900.00 for thursday, friday, saturday, and sunday night, for a 2 bed, with a nice bathroom at the bagabond, i split the cost with one of my friedns so about $450.00 aech. The loan oak lodge is quite nicer as you have a fireplace and a small patio like area wich is really cool as people hang out and mingle all about bikes within the hotel itself, and that will usualy run about $70.00 to $90.00 more than the bagabond, but its a bit harder to get a room there i got the bagabond this year as last. |

What an experience. Loved it and want to go back. |
