Formerly known as Eastern Transvaal – now Maphumalanga – quickly became ET between bikers and offers some of the best biking roads in the country surrounded by stunning scenery. From where we live, it’s about a 400km drive. Being a biking family, we try to visit the area at least once a month and this past weekend, we were there.

Here are a few pictures from our trip:

It was cold (4 degrees Celsius) when we left Friday morning – it’s now mid winter here but the weather this weekend was particularly bleak. Hence not a lot of colour in the pics
