| Re: Zanesville Ohio Triple Nickle Ride I know this is a little late but I LOVE the "triple nickel". I made 4 trips to it this year between july and september. What made you decide to come all the way down here other than 555? Another great couple of rides in the area is state route 78 outta Nelsonville and 550 which connects to 555. If you come down next season let me know. I would love to have another excuse to hit 555. |

| Re: Zanesville Ohio Triple Nickle Ride We go to that area because it's the best riding for a 5 hour trip. Hardly any police patrol either compared to home area. I know the roads you speak of well. We play in the whole area right over to Marietta.
We plan 2 trips for 2010. One just before Summer and one just after. I'll be sure to post ahead again to let you and others know. Steingar has an interest in hooking up as you can see above. Timing didn't work out last time for him.
I'll keep you posted once we nail down a date. Just a warning though. We are a bunch of old guys (even though I stopped at 29) and you're 24. Two of us still run a decent pace. |

| Re: Zanesville Ohio Triple Nickle Ride I have a couple of buddies that would enjoy going also. We will try to keep up with ya. Sounds like a good chance to learn from some veteran riders. Maybe we could show ya our favorite places to eat and hangout in the area. |

Cheers! | What type of communicators do you have? My friend I ride with the most and I have the Scala Rider Q2 headsets. They are awesome.
Quaker Steaks bike night is wednesday evenings all summer long. It is located about 2 miles north of I-270 just off of I-71. It's always a good time. There is a really cool place around the corner called the kickstand pub. It also draws a nice crowd on wednesdays. Thursdays is whiskey dicks bike night which is really cool also. |

When we go to Zanesville, we usually make a 4 day weekend out of it. Like Friday thru Monday so the Wednesday at Quaker Steaks likely won't work. That's too bad. Is it mostly sportbikes or a mixture? |

It certainly doesn't hold a patch to the Air Force Museum an hour further west, but isn't horrible. Bike night got described by some other fellows. The IP is the amazing Iron Pony, which I think your crew saw at my instigation last time you were through. Only you can say whether it was worth the hour ride in from Zanesville. |

| Re: Zanesville Ohio Triple Nickle Ride Bike night at the lube is a pretty even mix of sport bikes, cruisers, and a few sweet choppers n trikes.
The iron pony is awesome. I spend A LOT of time there. Actually I think im gonna be there monday. The only problem about goin when ur on a bike is u wanna buy more than u can carry. |
