| Re: The official trip to New England trip thread Be very careful on that route from Vt to NH. There is currently about an 8 mile stretch of road that is under construction with a lot of one lane road. It'll either get worse or a lot worse.
Also, watch out for Da Fuzz. You'll be passing thru a lot of small towns and Rt 9 is a fairly major road. Needless to say it's quite the income generator for the local PD's....State Police also have their own hide outs along the way and seem to be very ticket happy in that part of the state. Obey the posted limit until you hit the Henniker area. |

I've taken the Brat > Keene road many a time, and don't remember it being too fuzzy |

| Re: The official trip to New England trip thread Hell, I live 2 miles froom RT 100 and about 10 miles from RT 17. There is a wicked cool swiming hole nearby as well. Usually busy but nice. I would even come south for a ways to meet up with all you guys and gals. The ride up RT. 100 to Jay is nice too. |

| Re: The official trip to New England trip thread Rt 123 ROCKS!!!! I love that road. Never been up 17 or 100 in Vt though.
2OH, lots of fuzz, trust me on this one. I go up that way at least 3 or 4 times a month. They're not out every day but when they are they're out to nab people.
Of course you could always go up to Bellows Falls Vt and hook up on 123 into Stoddard NH and then onto Rt 9.
Speaking of....How long are you guys planning on being in the area? Just wondering what the schedule is shaping up as...a day in Vt a day in NH, etc etc? You guys already have a place to stay? |

| Re: The official trip to New England trip thread From a PM to Conq:
'So here's a quick (read: rough) itinerary:
Day 1 (Thursday): get there (I stop at my friend's house, if you wish, you continue for another 1-1.5 hours to NH's house or vicinity)
Day 2 : we (all - this may include other local riders, ie. SMTB) meet up at NH's house (or vicinity) and head out to Mt. Washington; maybe some more local touring; maybe some ME/VT touring; maybe a quick run to Canada
Day 3 : more local touring, maybe a quick run to Canada
Day 4 : get back (we meet up somewhere along the way, such as Brattleboro, VT, Greenfield, MA, etc)'
Day 2/3 can be switched. I've got a place to stay, but I'm not sure if Conq's wife is coming, so I'm not sure if I'll need/be able to arrange something for them both |

| No Conq! Don't do it! Don't end it! Life's too wonderful! Think of the wife! Think of the org members!
Oh, wait... I thought you were talking about something else
Umm, ok... but you're the one with the Garmin
NH told me that the Mt. Washington thing might be difficult to pull off due to unpredictable/severe weather conditions near the summit, so we'll have to play that one by ear. I sure hope the weather on the way up and down won't be too miserable... |

| Re: The official trip to New England trip thread I wouldn't mind meeting up with you guys. I could ride up Thurs. If your plans change a bit and you'll be riding some of the great roads around the Killington region on Friday, I'd be up for that. I need to ride back on Sat, so going as far as Mt. Washington is out for me. |
