| Alpinestars GP plus gloves question.. I need some new gloves, and considered participating in the group buy. Does anyone know what this means: ?? "patented 3rd and 4th finger bridge protects against “finger roll” and potential seam bursting during impacts • "
I normally ride with my pinky finger on the grip as well as the index??finger (the one closest to the thumb) and the two in the middle on the brake lever. Does the "patented finger bridge" mean that the pinky finger and the one next to it can't be separated??
I appreciate all help! |

I crashed....errr...made friends with pavement late last season and they held up fantastic! There is no restrictive webbing - all of the fingers are seperate. I highly recommend them.

| Re: Alpinestars GP plus gloves question.. Mine have the web bridge between the second to last and pinky finger, as do most Kushitani, Nankai and RS Taichi Pro series gloves. |

The Alpinestars web site says that both the Pro and the Plus have the magic "finger bridge"...
Guess that means I'll have to change my grip if I buy the gloves.. |

| Re: Alpinestars GP plus gloves question.. Interestingly, the tech spec on those gloves shows what appears to be some sort of web/band that 'bridges' the fingers together. However, I have those gloves and they aren't mapped together?? Wonder if that's something new for this year? The photos would indicate otherwise as well. |

| Re: Alpinestars GP plus gloves question.. I wear a large in RS Taichi, Kushitani and Cycle Racer, an extra large in Technics (although they are a bit loose, while I can't even get the large to make it over my knuckles) and ordered an extra large with the Alpine Stars only to find them too tight. They sent me XX Large and they fit perfectly, so go figure . . . |
