Another Custom Painted Helmet

I finally got around to airbrushing my first Brain Bucket and overall I am way pumped with how good it turned out so I gotta share with the org. I have not picked up an airbrush for years and to get back doing some non digital artwork and getting paint on my hands again was really cool.

I spent about 70 hours + in prep, masking and painting this sucker and I call it Von Fink. It is part Von Dutch (Flying eyeball) and part Rat Fink (The Rat Fangs). There is some Metzger influence too.

70+ hours!! Wow, a lot of work went into that helmet! Looks very excellent, grafixman.

If you had to bill for your services, what would you charge a paying customer for a similar job?

If I can get that same paint job completed in about 1/2 the time it took me I would start concidering doing them for customers. Right now I could'nt begin to imagine what I would charge.

So that's the helmet you'll be wearing at Grattan this June right?

There are still spaces available Abtech? Still a chance I could go but it would be a stretch to make it.

EDIT: Looks like there is still space available. The inaugural event sure was fun. "We will have a max of 40 riders per day, so we have 8 spots available on Monday and Tuesday with 23 available for Wednesday."

I would make it 41 for you anyway, so don't worry even if it's last minute!
