| Re: The coolest backpack ever! I don't know if if that was the exact one, but I've tried hard shelled bookbags like that on before and they weren't comfortable, at all. And that was within a matter of minutes, I can't imagine wearing one for an extended period of time.
Check out Ogio too, they make some cool stuff. |

I just like it for the shape, the materials and the neat ass'd pockets. plus it has the headphone port hole. I like that... |

| Re: The coolest backpack ever! still don't like riding w/ a pack on a sportsbike. I've put jeans, shirt and a pair of socks (and a drink?) into my 929 before, so that's good enough. |

Swallows my brick of a Dell Latitude laptop with ease. And is even comfortable on the bike with the laptop inside and my lunch and a beverage and all sorts of other $hit.
It's got a padded backpanel, padded shoulder straps, a sternum strap and a waist strap. This piece does NOT move around during riding even when doing your best Rossi impression. A seperate pocket for your CD/MP3 player with a headphone port out of that pocket. Nice padded grab handle on top for carryingin your hand.
Overall, a high quality "man purse". Buy one, you won't be disapointed.
OMG, I just saw the MSRP on the AXIO, $159.

"man purse! That's funny! Does it have a backprotector of sorts built in as well? My concern about riding with regular backpacks was, if you had hard stuff in it, if you fell on it you'd do a lot more damage to your spine. |

| Re: The coolest backpack ever! That's one pricey backpack. I use mine daily to work with my cage and sometimes on the bike. As long as I don't load it heavy it doesn't bother me on the bike. Fifteen dollars at wallmart. |

The only thing that i carry in my b/p thats hard is my laptop to and from work when i am on-call (one week out of six) and my small digital camera. Even then, it's only a 6 mile all rural commute, and thats going the LONG way. |

| Re: The coolest backpack ever! well i have a magnetic tankbag for those days when I need to pack, and if I intend to tuck, I throw the tank bag straps under the rear seat and shut it down. It works well, but I hear you, that underseat exhaust prolly don't have enuf space for lint. Heh.
I kinda have grown to the 929's spacious trunk. |
