I tried to attach some pics, but they were too big. So if you're not familiar with this model, I've attached the pic from AGV's website. It's the XR2 Rossi World Champion.
And finally, a review will have to wait. It's raining today and the forecast calls for rain every day this week. |

| The clear shield that came with it had tear-off tabs. Within minutes of taking it out of the box I put a tinted shield on it, but it doesn't have tabs. I never do trackdays so I'm not worried about it. |

You're welcome. Definately let us know how you like it when you get a chance to take it out on a ride...cuz I want one too.
The tinted sheilds come with or without the tear-off tabs (I think) but the ones with were quite a bit more, if I remember correctly. |

Nice looking helmet. I am curious to discover if AGV has improved upon the 'average' name they currently have in the industry. Please note what Make/Model helmet you were wearing previously, when you report your findings on your new 'hat'. |

Kinda gives the helmet a little femininity there.
How's the weight?
I thought about getting this one, but opted for a light Suomy instead. |

| Wait a minute, it's not some flowery helmet like the Mugello replica (see pic).
Anyway, it's very light. I've been wearing a Q3R for several years and the XR2 is lighter, and seems a bit narrower (although that could be due to the new padding not yet conformed to my head).
As soon as I get a clear day I'll give a ride report. Since it's a race helmet I'm expecting it to be fairly noisy, but that's what earplugs are for. |

| I wouldn't do that if I were you...unless of course you really want to feel bad about how much you just spent on the new helmet. |

Really!! How much are you guys asking? I just bought an HJC at a closeout price because I didn't want to pay the near $400 I've seen the Rossi replica advertised for. |

I'm a Shoie dude. Anyone have an AGV that can comment on fit similarity (especially sizing). I still might get one as a backup helmet incase I dent the one I have now. Plus it's nice to be able to rotate them around and not unlesh relentles stink on the same lid every ride.

| Re: the new lid is here! $299 is an awesome price. The dealer must really like you. Our normal price is $375
I'll let Serial chime in on what he paid if he wants to do so but I can tell you he paid quite a bit less than the normal price as he participated in our group buy a few months ago. |
