| Re: Firebladers from JAPAN! Two years ago I bought a set of NRmax NRG-25 gloves from a Honda dealer in Miami. They are like putting on a set of orgazms (they're nice). Anyway, I'm trying to find another set because I've been down on these three times (They aren't ruined but a bit tattered).
To date I've found one dealer in the UK (sells for 180 pounds, you do the math) and one in Canada. If anyone knows of a dealer here in the US, please chime in.
The Canada dealer says that he sells NRG-30 and NRG-32. He claims that the NRG-30 is the racing glove but I have no way to confirm this because I'm having a heck of a time getting info from Nankai.
My request to Bladers from Japan is:
Can someone check on Nankai to see if they still make the NRG-25? And is the NRG-30 an upgrade or simply another style? Thank you.

| Re: Firebladers from JAPAN! A quick search revealed: http://www.google.com/search?....+nankai
...and this is probably the company's site: http://www.nankai-kitakyu.com/form2.html
There are a couple of members there, maybe they'd be willing to purchase locally, and ship them to you, as we've done for them |

| Re: Firebladers from JAPAN! This would be the model I'm looking for. The red white and black ones
And these are the NRG-30 model
Just incase anyone was wondering. They really don't look any more impressive than any other glove but the feel and performance is unbelievable.

| Re: Firebladers from JAPAN! Put a call into my local Nankai shop (was out knocking back oat-sodas wit dem boyz last night too) They no longer sell the NRG-25. The NRG-30 was the replacement model, which they still sell. They also have an slightly different newer one NRG-32 in stock (mostly just style difference from what I am told). both are racing gloves with the 'carbon look' adhered etc. It sounded like the NRG-33 will be coming out soon as well. They have a brochure on the current gloves at the shop if you want one.
Maybe when my Teknic's wear out....hmmm...
They still have the dual purpose NRG-29 and the older NRG-22 model for sale as well. |

| Re: Firebladers from JAPAN! Call me a skeptic but I've never trusted Japanese gloves. So many shops you go into and find way, way overpriced gloves looking like the goods and when you get down to it, they are just cheap imitations. I ended up getting some Alpinestars outside of Japan with kangaroo leather palms, ooohh so smooth.
Anyway I don't know the actual gloves you are looking for and they are probably very good. I actually have a Nankai racing suit which is very good. Nankai is predominantly a southern Japan chain store so SuperGaijin is your main man! (It's late here, I've been out on the juice, so feel free to ignore any of the above.) |

| You are the MAN!
I would love to get a Nankai Catalog. I'll PM you.
Gunichan, rest assured, these are the real deal. I've been down hard on them and they're just a bit scuffed up and the insides are soft as a baby's bottom. I tried the Alpine stars, Held, you name it. None of them are as soft and strong (They're the Charman of gloves). These are the ones.
