Re: New Helmet Arrives Thursday My new helmet from helmetharbor.com is scheduled to arrive this Thursday. A Shoei X-11 as highly recommended by many here on the .org. Thanks! http://www.helmetcity.com/cycle/imag..._norick_lg.jpg

Someone had said that they fit like Arai... well, the local dealer got one in (M), and I couldn't even get it halfway on my noggin He ordered a batch, including an L, so I'll have to wait for it to come in to try it on. |

Re: New Helmet Arrives Thursday Nice. I fought in a 'paper, rock, scissors' game against Norick with the prize being that exact same replica helmet....I wanted it bad, but lost in the third round. It went down to the wire with a 30-something year old guy versus a 9 year old girl....he dusted her in the final throwdown and walked away with that sweet lid. Enjoy!

Re: New Helmet Arrives Thursday The new Shoei X-11 is said to fit more like Arais that the other Shoei models. I demo'd one at our track day this past weekend, and although it was a size too big for me, I was impressed with the ventilation and the lightness. It seems to be cut up a bit more at the back of the neck than my Arai RX7 which made it more comfy. It'll likely be my next helmet if the XS fits me. (My XS Arai is a bit too big). The X-11 doesn't come in XXS.

Re: New Helmet Arrives Thursday It's here - and oh man, is it sweet! Very light, fits my dome perfectly, and the ventilation is fantastic. Noise is much less than expected too! Me very happy! * http://www.fireblades.org/iB_html/up...77532-x11b.jpg

Re: New Helmet Arrives Thursday I've got the Ukawa X11. It fits just about exactly the same as my Arai Quantum or RX7. It's light and the ventilation is the best of any helmet I've seen.

Re: New Helmet Arrives Thursday I was a little nervous about whether or not it would fit, having not had an opportunity to try one on prior to ordering, and with some people saying that Shoei helmets tend to fit differently than others, but it fits my head like it was custom built for it. My HJC Symax that I was using would put a little too much pressure on my forehead on long rides, but the Shoei is just a comfortable, soft, snug fit all around. I find the field of vision while checking my blind spots when changing lanes much better too, which is a nice benefit I hadn't expected.
