| Alpinestars Airflow jackets? Does anybody have either the plain black Airflow or the Stunt-Airflow jacket by Alpinestars?
I like most A-stars stuff and am thinking about getting a hot weather jacket, what do you guys think about the Airflows?
Thanks |

| Re: Alpinestars Airflow jackets? I recently purchased the Venom Air-Flow jacket, and I love it!
It's confortable and great to move around in...(Ie. you can walk around the house and still look cool!) Only thing I hate about them is, when it's brand new, the inside smells like foot odor! YUCK! |

| Re: Alpinestars Airflow jackets? Just ordered a Hein Gericke Timbuktu Air Mesh Jacket. It should arrive in a week or two. Only experience I have is with Alpinestars Air-Flo Riding Pants & like them in the hot weather.
The Timbuktu is more to my style of jacket being long on the body & same with my other jackets. It probably will not be to the liking of many still Hein Gericke seem to have some pretty good riding gear.
Have a lot to learn about these mesh jackets such as change in altitudes & so temperatures, for I live & ride in the mtn area, & what happens if I run into a surprise bit of rain or a downpour of rain. For my 57+ yrs of riding have never included such mesh riding gear.

| Re: Alpinestars Airflow jackets? I got the SMX Airflo jacket earlier this spring in a group buy from Cal-Sportbike. I can't say enough good things about it. It felt broke in the first time I put it on, unlike unperf'd jackets that take a while to break in. I haven't noticed any smell from my jacket; but do get the smell from my A-stars gloves. Not sure what's with that. |

| Re: Alpinestars Airflow jackets? I had the Stunt perforated jacket, and actually just sold it yesterday....
I loved it, if I had to get another street jacket, that would probably be it. |

| Re: Alpinestars Airflow jackets? This bit about "smell" has me wondering for my mesh trousers by Alpinestars should be showing the same as the other jackets & pants I have with some dating back to the 60s. Yes I have a good smellerso I would be able to smell something out of normal. Possibly it is because I keep them hung up properly & not not throwen into some corner of the room --- only guessing on the latter.
Yes some of my jackets date back to early 60s so that is not a joke & in reality none of my clothing smells. Use to pick up the smell of spent tobacco from others that smoked & so hung them outside for a day or two & in some cases they could be washed by hand or machine.
