RS Taichi Blast Evo

Buy 600

Spidi Proto One

Which one would you buy based on quality....not worried about looks, so that's why I'm not posting pics.

Re: Spidi or RS Taichi??

I've had good luck with my Spidi stuff. Crashed three times in my Parsek jacket/Multi pants and once in my current Norick suit with no issues.

Re: Spidi or RS Taichi??

I'd say it's a toss-up. I have been happy with my Spidi Hook (lower-end in the Spidi line) suit, but I know RS Taichi is top-shelf stuff.

What he said. I was in the market 3 yrs ago, and it came down to the RS Taichi Blast Evo or Alpinestars Haga suit. I got a smoking deal on the Alpinestars so I went with that. With that said, RS Taichi is top quality. Their gloves are worth it as well.

Re: Spidi or RS Taichi??

I notice the spidis use 1.2 leather and the Taichis use 1.5 leather....hmmm

Can also get the
sliderwind, the viper pro,
slider prof for very good price...

Man I hate making these decisions....

My final word...go with the Taichi. Just be cautious of sizing, I hear they run a bit smaller than most other brands.

I'm just getting sick and tired of your indecisiveness. You're worse than a damn woman in a clothing store. "But this one makes my ass look fat"..."But this one will go better with these shoes"..."But this one flushes my skin tones out"..."But I can wear this one to work or to dinner"...

P.S. Yes, I do realize that this is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

Re: Spidi or RS Taichi??

Honestly, I'd give Trackoholic a jingle and ask about his Kushitani stuff. He gets excellent prices on the stuff, and it's durable. That's what my next suit will be

I would but with having to repair the F4 along with buying new leathers, helmet gloves I don't think I can spend the extra $$ that it'd cost.....

RS Taichi was one of my best suits of all time. Just hard to find these days and take's a while to have custom made.

Thanks for the opinion....based on your experience (and maybe some of Pete's smart a$$ remarks) and others I've decided on the Taichi.

Ordered the Taichis along with a pair of Kushitani GPR4 gloves. Now the agonizing wait for delivery.
