Bohn makes a value one that is both a back protector and chest protector that would work well for most. |

Looks like the group buy on the sv board was as follows..
$65 for chest protector ($90 retail)
$130 for back protector ($185 retail)
Plus tax and shipping.
Which if bought together would be $80 off of the normal online price.

| Re: Interested in group buy for impact armor chest protector or back protector? Recovering from 5 fractured ribs (and a broken collarbone)---if these things work--it would be money well spent.
Im gonna go get one of those Dainse mesh full armout under jacket for my dirt bike endevours cuz broken ribs are a plain in the ass--much worse than the broken collarbone |

Take a look through the thread linked to the svriders board...has pics of it showing it's thickness.
Edit:I've attached the pic. The one one the right is the chest protector

I have the A* tech series back protector. I don't see why it wouldn't work with most/all back protectors. You can just stick it in the front of your leathers.....only thing I can see getting in the way is if a particular back protector wraps around you some....then you'd have to discuss with Mike (or me) when he makes the template and describe it in your measurements.

Its not just a foam pad like you see in some jackets and suits. They are pretty thin, about pinky thickness. It is made from a hard material and makes a knocking sound when you rap it, but still flexible enough to bend and conform to your back.
Mik's # is 916-725-2936 if you have more questions on the material etc. I will give him a call and make sure on compatibility with other back protectors.
To get in on this pm me your

Email

day and night phone #
Measurements following the form at the following link. http://impactarmor.homestead.com/measuring.html
This will then be turned over to Mike and he'll look over the information, contact you for payment info and then begin to make and send out the templates for trial. If the templates are good then the protector will be made. If you have any questions give me a holler.

You can just slip it in the front of your leathers, or there's a velcro patch on the front, so one can be put on the inside of your leathers if wanted. |
