heated grips

I'm installing some heated grips using the following type circuit:

I'm not familiar with the electricals on the 929...is there any place thats better/easier to splice or connect to for the positive,negative and 'power on' (dash light on the schematic)?

I tied into the low beam of the headlight. The grips I put on draw very little current, so there's plenty of current available on that circuit. Plus it's close.
