Problem with Firstgear

Ok so now I have a little problem. My wife saw me looking at these at newenough.com the other day. http://www.newenough.com/firstgear_h...pants_page.htm

And I was looking at them cause they were closeouts for only $85. And I was interested in them but the problem is it's just the pants, no jacket. So she ordered them for me. I think it was suspose to be for Christmas cause she didn't say anything to me about ordering them. The only way I even knew about them is cause she used our main email address and I saw the conformation email and tracking number. So now my question. Since Firstgear made the pants, if I can't find the jacket (which I spent all day yesterday looking with no luck) can I use another Firstgear jacket in it's place? I was thinking along the lines of something like this (Firstgear Blade).

And does anybody know the quality of Firstgear?

First Gear is pretty good quality in my opinion. I have those same pants with the jacket and I use it as my track suit. 85 dollars is an AWESOME price. I think I payed over 200 for mine. The jacket is an awesome match. Here is a pic of me on with the suit on.

They are great leathers for the track and good for streetriding around town too

As far as finding where to purchase it new.... One store (havent dealt with them) nother I may be willing to sell my jacket but you would have to wait till January until I get back to the states.

I think all the FirstGear jackets and pants zip together...at least that was my experience when shopping a couple years ago.

Actually I had to send my suit in and they put new zippers on that fit. They payed for zippers and shipping, pretty good deal.

I bought the matching perforated leather Honda suit also (bought them at the same time, from the same vendor), and the jacket and pants don't zip together. Apparently FG changed the zipper model halfway through the model year.

They will fix it if you send it in to them..

I love the suit, by the way.. definitely get the perforated version - huge difference in warmer weather.

If your willing to sell it when you get back, it's a 48 or possibly 50 and in decend shape I'll gladly buy it from you. Just let me know one way or another. Thanks for the offer!!

If you need it, New Enough sells the other part of the zipper too (the one that attaches to the jacket) for $5. It's on the same page as the pants, just at the very bottom.

Oh thanks, blader. I needed another pair of pants. I have some red stuff. And I like New Enough. I snatched-up some 34s - post haste. This was great for me! I hope it works out for you.

Worked out great. The pants fit great! Now I need to order the first gear speed freak jacket to go with it. I've been looking for the Honda one and can't find it anywere so this will have to do for now.
