| H.A.R.D. Screamer? I have recently wired my radar detector to my commuter bike, but I obiously can't hear it at.....(ehem)...65 mph and it is hard to keep an eye on the display, especially during daylight hours. I am considering both the H.A.R.D. helmet LED indicatior and the Screamer, but I'm leaning toward the H.A.R.D. Does anybody have either of these products and how do they work? |

| Re: H.A.R.D. Screamer? I've got the H.A.R.D. setup and it works very well. I recommend it. I got a second reciever for my other helmet so I don't have to change over whenever I want to use it.
The Screamer won't work for me as I'm already half deaf and I wear earplugs all the time! |

It's clear that you bought it purely for informational purposes, and that you are merely ensuring that your tax dollars are funding adequate radar enforcement. You wouldn't even be thinking of (gasp!) speeding, right? I mean, the other radar detector owners on this site don't speed, either........
I haven't had a radar detector in years, but am thinking about getting one because, well, you know |

| Re: H.A.R.D. Screamer? I've had the screamer on my 954, and wasn't impressed. Wasn't loud enough at highway speeds, and was annoying in the city (yes, switching it constantly was a pain too).
What's worked for me exceptionally well is earphones plugged into my V1 (along with an iPod). |

I went ahead and ordered the H.A.R.D. everybody that has one seems to like it
Thanks for the post! |
