You can get a RAM mount setup for about 1/4th of that. |

I was looking at one of the HB2 setup that replaces part of the clutch support but I cant see how its gonna fit right. Like I said its a tight space to start then you add in the fairing stay and its smaller. |

| Re: Garmin V On the 929RR, XX, 1000RR, and the VFR, I used the same mounting location.
I use the RAM-11M base, and attach it to one of the clip-on pinch bolts.
You can see it here in the lower part of this picture on the VFR: http://www.conqsoft.com/myimages/VFR...rlet%20004.jpg
On the XX, I had to use two of the RAM Short Arms, and a Double-Ball adapter to wind it up and around to clear everything. On all the other bikes, I just needed 1 RAM Short Arm to get it into position. Your needs will vary depending on the bike.
With the Bagster in place, here's the view while riding on the VFR: http://www.conqsoft.com/myimages/VFR...0104%20008.jpg
On the XX: http://www.conqsoft.com/myimages/1100XX/cockpit.jpg
Couldn't find a pic of it on the 1000RR, but you can see the RAM Base on the left clip-on here: http://www.conqsoft.com/myimages/100...ster%20012.jpg
Old GPS, but same RAM Base on the 929RR: http://www.fireblades.org/photopost/...cat/507/page/1 |

The owners of Cyclegadgets are great people, you could call them and see if any of their customers have put one on an RC51 with a damper... |

| Re: Garmin V Would it be a bad idea to use the pinch bolt for the tripple with the 11m type base that you used conq? Left Clipon
With One of these
and a standard arm since I think the cradle for the V sits on the right side of the unit

| Re: Garmin V I can't use that because of my Brembo Master cylinders, the resevoirs are attached to the pinch bolts. The Saeng is pricy, but it just screws off, takes about 5 seconds to pull it off and store in the tail. |

I think with the Ram-11, Compact Base / Cradle Ball Adapter, GPSV Cradle and a Standard 3" Arm its $52 to my door, $77 with the hard wire kit
Do you know what size the pinch bolt is on the satos? I cant remember off the top of my head

We head out alot of weekends with the purpose of just finding new roads. Probleem is we forget where they were. Both problems will now be solved |

Ohhh... but that's what makes it fun. If you've never hit reserve (yeah, I know, we can't do that anymore) and walked up to a farmer's house to ask which way is the nearest gas station, then, you have no Lewis & Clark in you at all.
