| How do you clean the ouside of a leather jacket? It sparked my mind after reading the leather cleaning thread that I have still yet to clean my A*'s Stunt, it has a seasons worth of dead bugs on it since I'm too scared and un-informed on how to clean it. I have never owned a leather jacket before, only textile so I'm kind of at a loss. |

Warm, soapy water, then leather cleaner, then leather conditioner. |

| Re: How do you clean the ouside of a leather jacket? I use a couple of products recommended by Tiger Angel, the maker of my leathers. Mother's Leather Cleaner followed by Mother's Leather Conditioner. Quick, easy and good results. |

| Re: How do you clean the ouside of a leather jacket? Rain!
Any lotion with glycerin. The glycerin makes the leather soft and supple like a baby's skin. Glycerin also just happens to be the main ingredient in the better hand lotions. It makes skins strong and soft. The leather cleaners you get should have this in its ingredients. |

IAM leathers i presume??? lol
He said the same for mine when he altered it.
but he mentioned that as a deterant to bugs sticking ot the leathers, not as a claener, although i'm sure it would work for that too. It does however smell lemony fresh!! |

| Re: How do you clean the ouside of a leather jacket? I just remembered this, but several people have told me in the past that if you cut a potato in half and rub it on the dirt spots it will clean it right up. Never tried it. |

| Re: How do you clean the ouside of a leather jacket? If you've got a Wilson's House of Suede and Leather at a mall near you, they sell some pretty good leather care products - including cleaner and conditioner that protects it if it happens to get wet, too. |
