I haven't actually used the RoboMax, but I've tried them on before, and they definitely fit well and appear to be very well made. |

| Re: Need suggestions on quality and comfortable gloves.. I guess you just can never have too many pairs of gloves. I once bought a front tire from a local guy. Went over to his house and in his garage he just had racks of stuff. 3-4 helmets, bunch of suits etc. I swear he must've had 10 pairs of gloves. When I asked about it, he went on to say "these are lined for winter, these are rain gloves, track, this, that..." I see myself heading in that direction. edit Just wanted to thank everyone again for the input. Glad everyone here uses a large variety of different gloves.
These will *for now* be dual purpose gloves for me, general street, cool weather, and hopefully soon, the track. This leads me to another question though, which would be a good choice for comfort and protection for a glove during the 95 and extremely humid riding weather? I like shorty's for those days but looking for something a little more durable just in case .

| Re: Need suggestions on quality and comfortable gloves.. Hi there I know what you are going through with the search for the "Right Glove". I work part time at a Tuning shop in Costa Mesa and we got in some amazing gloves made by a company called Racer. Racer is an Austrian company they have some 15 models of high quality gloves. I personally love the High End it is made of Kangoroo Leather and I knowfor a fact that a few rides went down at 100+ and walked away with the gloves looking like new.

The paint on the plastic is peeling and there's a hole in the side of the tip of the middle finger. I never even went down in these. Had them for 2 season. Guess I'll need a new pair this summer because if it gets a hole from just rubbing against the other finger then I don't know how good it'll do against pavement.
I like those Robomaxes.

| Re: Need suggestions on quality and comfortable gloves.. Held are good gloves, but they fit a hair smaller then some others so you will have to be looking for XXL or XXXL. I wear XL & even that is hard to find in many shops.

I like shorty's for those days but looking for something a little more durable just in case . | Even on the hottest, most humid (humidest? is that a word?) I still wear full gear and that includes full gauntlet gloves (unlined), the same as I wear on the track. If it's too hot for me to put on all that gear, it's too hot to go riding. That's my take on it, anyway...
My hands are never overly hot anyway, it's the rest of me underneath the 'stich, even though it's got pretty good ventilation. |

For that kind of money, Tour Master is perhaps the best value of any glove out there. |

Just had a friend over tonight who I ride with, he tried them on and asked me to send him the link to newenough. He couldn't believe the price after trying them on. |
