I think that alot of you need to accept this fact and not down everyone who brings up the ocassional wheelie or posts a pic of one.
You're right, stunters in general aren't giving motorcyclists a bad name. Stunters specifically are.

Work less on your "wheelie prowess" and more on your defensive riding skills

I don't need to work on my defensive riding skills at all. I am constantly scanning everything going on around me....I've been in one mishap in many years of riding which happened this year due to another riders lack of skill and ability on the new bike he had upgraded to....But that is a different story.

And no not everyone else does, you took a part of a comment and turned it into whatever you felt like it meaning...

Stunters specifically are not giving motorcyclists a bad name. You need to look at the whole picture and not try to be an ass and realize that most of stunting done these days is done in a closed area, where they have permission to do what they are doing and are not endangering anyone.

And all competitions are done in a completely closed area where permission and insurance is required...Totally legit...

I just happened to recheck this thread tonight not expecting any real comments to come out of what I posted but this one was kinda funny.

The only thing I am really trying to say is be more open minded towards everyone and their style, skill, choice of type of riding they do. If they aren't posting something really stupid then why post some stupid negative comment just because you see a pic of someone doing a wheelie?

Have a nice day....

Re: Textile Jackets ???

Back on topic, lkcty99prf I have a Firstgear Killiminjaro Air jacket. Since I just got it for Xmas and it is intended mainly for riding in the summer, I haven't used it too much. It does seem to keep me warm down to around 50 degrees with the liner in and only a tshirt on underneath. Without the liner, it does have great airflow. So far, Im happy w/ it and it is very comfortable, but would like to try it out on a much warmer day.

Brother, no matter how long you've ridden you NEVER stop working on your defensive skills.

This statement reminds me of the Dave Chappell Rick James interview.

"Cocaines a hell of a drug."

Look, do I really need to go dig up and post every newscast and article on stunters "endangering our roadways" complete with standups and stoppies in traffic? Perception is reality. Get used to it.

So what you're saying is when some jackass wads himself and his bike, or intentionally blows the engine for the entertainment of the crowd, he can claim it on his insurance?? Possibly the same insurance I carry?

I'm sure this has no effect on everyones "sportbike" insurance at all, right??

As I thought this one was funny from another thread where I was trying to look out for a new poster before he got banned talking about his "stuntbike"-

He had stated his bike was still a stuntbike to some extent. You decided to drop your hat in the ring. I only used your own insults in a different context. Deal with it.

Be my guest. Post all the wheelie pics you want. I'd love to see some. Go for it. You just might change everyones mind. (Don't worry about the site rules, you're above them, aren't ya) hint of heavy sarcasm.

Hey, nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?
